BLACK AND WHITE EFFECT 2

For the scenes where Shqipdon is in the bedroom we wanted to maintain the sad and lonely atmosphere that we had running through the music video. I thought that it would also help with maintaining the continuity as the higher contrast helps you to lose some of the details and so you wouldn’t be able to notice that we used two different people. The black and white effect contrasts the saturated clips where Ella and Shqipdon are together and so this also adds to the dark and sad atmosphere. I think that the black and white effect also helps to make the music video seem slightly more professional as we a have used codes and conventions and techniques that are typical within music videos.
